Hi, I'm Prachi!
A Little About Me
My name is Prachi Dhase and I'm a Toronto-based illustrator and fine artist, and a recent graduate from the Illustration program at OCAD University. I work in traditional and digital media, and I love to create vivid, colourful and meaningful pieces using both! I often work with a mix of acrylic paint and digital rendering tools such as Procreate, Photoshop and Illustrator, and I thoroughly enjoy experimenting with other media forms to add to my skillset!
About My Process
While I enjoy my independence as an artist and designer, I am also a people person! I love collaborating with others to discuss ideas and get constructive feedback, so that my work can always meet industry standards, as well my own personal standards. I like all of my work to be well researched and have depth and meaning behind it, as I believe art and design are extremely powerful tools that can invoke strong emotions and spread a message! I enjoy creating diverse, personalized work that sheds light on different cultures, histories and human experiences.
Interests
My favourite ways to spend time have always included reading, writing, and researching all things mythological, historical, spiritual, psychological.
